UPC-V312 er baseret på Intel Atom D525 1,8GHz dual-core CPU, et robust kabinet i aluminium med krævende godkendelser som MIL-STD-810F 514.5C-2, IP65 og temperaturområde på -20 til +60°C. Funktionstaster i front, redundant forsyning, kamera, trådløs, 600 cd/m2, EM/Mifare kortlæser, CAN-bus, blæserfri samt GPS og 3,5G som option.
